Month 9 brought about a lot of change.... Gabriella is now sitting up completely independently, mimics sounds, reaches up when she wants to be held and will twist to get down when she's ready to be put down, will look at the correct person when asked, "Where's Dad?", "Where's Mom?", and "Where's Lulu (the cat)?", grew lots more hair, and the biggest change is that she has 2 teeth!! Her bottom two teeth broke through during our vacation and she has been handling it so well. She's needed a bit of help pain-wise with some Motrin in the evenings and has been a bit more whiny these past 2 days but overall, she's been amazing.
Her likes this month:
-Swimming! Between the ocean and her little pool, we have a little fish and we love it.
-Smiling and staring at people until she gets a reaction. She's become a very silly little girl.
-Grabbing her cousin Ben. Luckily he's a good sport at only 1 month old.
-Frozen anything/everything in her little mesh teether. Ice cubes and frozen fruit have really helped!
Dislikes this month:
-Being contained... she isn't too fond of being strapped in her carseat, stroller, or arms when there is something else she wants to do. She likes doing things on her own schedule.
-When someone is holding Ben....she gave her Nana and Grampy some dirty looks this past week when she thought they should be playing with her instead! But then in the next minute she wants to touch him so as soon as they are both a bit older, I think we're in trouble with how wild they will be together! Seeing them together all week was awesome and we are all so excited to watch them grow up together!
I'll have a full beach vacation post this week!!
